To me The Annexe Project is more like a home than a tuition centre. I got to know about Alvin through my friend Cho Wie. He was always telling me about how Alvin always made his lessons interesting and engaging, so I decided to take up tuition classes for H2 Mathematics with Alvin to get a head start in my JC curriculum.
Since the beginning of my JC1, I will diligently do the assignments tasked by Alvin and also do the extra questions prepared by him to challenge myself further. This helped me to develop my understanding of Mathematics and appreciate doing Mathematics on a daily basis. Nearing the A Level Period, I also attended Alvin’s ASTRO Math class to further boost my proficiency in Mathematics so that I will be more confident in doing questions during the actual exam. This is achieved by doing countless of A level standard papers selected by Alvin and then going through the answers during his consultation classes to help strengthen my understanding of the concepts.
I am proud to say that I achieved an ‘A’ grade for my A Levels and I could not have done it without Alvin’s help throughout these past 2 years. I am really thankful to Alvin for making Mathematics such an easy subject to do and learn in my JC years.
