Despite my decent foundation in E-Math, A-Math was a whole new world for me and it was definitely one of my biggest challenges in school.
My brother and cousins recommended The Annexe Project to me and I decided to take it up. At first, I thought Annexe would be just another tuition centre where all we do is practice papers. But, that was definitely not the case as Annexe has a very friendly and homely environment. To me, Annexe is not just a place of study but it’s an environment where you can have fun while learning.
All through my Secondary 3 and 4 years, I never once felt like going to Annexe was a chore. Alvin was always there for me whenever I needed help with tough Math sums. He gave me constant guidance and even went the extra mile to schedule consultations with me. Alvin’s expertise on the subject allowed me to learn something new every lesson! Thanks to Alvin’s constant encouragement and his clarity in teaching style, I’ve maintained a strong A throughtout my entire Secondary 4 journey which is something I would have never have dreamed of.
