E-Math Tuition Singapore
Elementary Mathematics (E-Math, syllabus 4052) is compulsory for every O-Level candidate, and a strong grade keeps both polytechnic and JC options open. The Annexe Project’s Emath tuition is a live, small-group online class for Sec 3 and Sec 4 students, 1.5 hours a week with founder Mr Alvin Yeo. Every one of the 2025 E-Math students scored A1 or A2. What a lesson looks like
- Notes arrive before class. Structured lecture notes curated by Mr Yeo, so nobody scrambles to copy from the screen.
- Live working on a digital whiteboard. Every question is solved line by line in the marking-scheme format, and students ask questions out loud or in the chat.
- Weekly homework, reviewed. Practice during the lesson plus a homework set marked by the tutor, so gaps show up early.
- Recording and consultations. The lecture recording is downloadable for the whole course, and free consultations outside class have been the academy’s culture since 2008.

Common questions
How much does E-Math tuition cost?
SGD 260 per block of four weekly sessions of 1.5 hours (SGD 65 per session), including notes, homework review and lecture recordings. A trial lesson is available.
Who should take E-Math tuition?
Sec 3 and Sec 4 students taking O-Level Elementary Mathematics who want a reliable A1/A2 — 100% of our 2025 E-Math students achieved it.
How is the O-Level E-Math paper structured?
Two papers of 2 hours 15 minutes, 90 marks each. Paper 1 and Paper 2 both cover the whole 4052 syllabus, and the formula list printed in the paper is on our free formula sheet page.
Which formulas are given in the E-Math exam?
Compound interest, the cone and sphere formulas, arc length and sector area, the sine and cosine rules, the area-of-triangle formula and the mean and standard deviation formulas. Everything else must be memorised — see our O-Level maths formula sheet.
Are E-Math classes online?
Yes — live over Zoom in small groups, with the working shown line by line on a digital whiteboard.
What if I miss an E-Math lesson?
Every lecture is recorded and downloadable, and free consultations outside class hours are included.
Can E-Math and A-Math be taken together?
Yes. Many of our students take both; the E-Math class runs Mon (Sec 3) or Wed (Sec 4) and the A-Math class Tue (Sec 3) or Mon (Sec 4), so the two never clash.
