Online math tuition at The Annexe Project means live Zoom classes, not pre-recorded videos: small groups, a digital whiteboard, questions answered on the spot, structured notes sent before class and a downloadable recording afterwards. What a lesson looks like
- Notes arrive before class. Structured lecture notes curated by Mr Yeo, so nobody scrambles to copy from the screen.
- Live working on a digital whiteboard. Every question is solved line by line in the marking-scheme format, and students ask questions out loud or in the chat.
- Weekly homework, reviewed. Practice during the lesson plus a homework set marked by the tutor, so gaps show up early.
- Recording and consultations. The lecture recording is downloadable for the whole course, and free consultations outside class have been the academy’s culture since 2008.

Common questions
How do online math lessons work?
Classes run live on Zoom. Students see the tutor and a digital whiteboard with full worked solutions, ask questions out loud or in the chat, and receive the notes beforehand. The recording is available to download after class.
Is online tuition as effective as in-person?
Our results say yes: in 2025, 90% of H2 students scored A/B and 100% of E-Math students scored A1/A2 — all taught fully online. Small groups and live correction are what matter, not the room.
How much does online math tuition cost in Singapore?
At The Annexe Project: Lower Secondary SGD 240, O-Level E-Math or A-Math SGD 260, and A-Level H2 Math SGD 350 — each per block of four weekly sessions, with notes and recordings included.
What equipment does my child need?
A laptop or tablet with a stable connection, a webcam and a quiet spot. A writing tablet helps but is not required.
Which levels do you teach online?
Lower Secondary (Sec 1–2), O-Level Elementary and Additional Mathematics (Sec 3–4), and A-Level H2 Mathematics (JC1–2) — all taught by Mr Alvin Yeo.
Can students outside Singapore join?
Yes. Classes run on Singapore time (GMT+8); the timetable on this page converts each slot to your local time, and every lesson is recorded if a slot falls awkwardly.
